Today was one of the most authentic Italian days we've had yet! We visited Lake Iseo, which is a lake where Mrs. Clewis has a summer home. Her family was kind enough to have all of us over to make a traditional 4 course Italian lunch! We started the day off with making our tiramisu! It was so simple but yet so delicious! Next we made our aperitivo, which was Pirlo, an Italian wine! Our first course, was Pasta alla Carbonara, followed by Roast Beef al Limone! This was by far one of the most relaxing days but it was a day that I will remember for the rest of my life.
Not only was the food amazing, but the house as well as the view was amazing as well! I thought Lake Garda was beautiful but this topped it! If I could choose one place to live in Italy, Lake Iseo would be it. It was so clear and beautiful. Just looking out you were able to see palm trees, pine trees, the lake and even the ALPS!
