Santa Giuila Museum

Buongiorno everyone!

These past few days have been absolutely fantastic!  The scenery is breath-taking and all we've seen is Brescia so far.  Today after philosophy class we went to the Santa Giuila museum.  There were so many beautiful paintings, statues, and artifacts.  It was unbelievable!  But here are some pics of the Museum:

La Vittoria alata : the Goddness of victory and love:)

Floriano Ferramola's Crucifixion in the Nuns' Choir

Michael the Arc Angel painting on the Walls of Santa Maria in Solario

                                                                       The Courtyard

The museum was composed of three different churches.  the Church of Santa Giulia, San Salvatore, Santa Maria in Solario.  These Church had different roles in 753 and all were absolutely breath-taking!!  There were also so many mosaic tiles and floor that were found in the garden areas:

                                                               a mosaic tiled floor

This was amazing! I cant wait until we get to see outside of Brescia !

Ciao for now!
